New publication with colleagues
My colleagues, Julia Christmas and Li-hsin Tu, and I just published a paper "Teachers Talking about CLIL Pedagogy: Transforming teacher practices through Collaborative Autoethnography" in the American Journal of Qualitative Research how we used CAE (Collaborative Autoethnography) when discussing and developing our pedagogical knowledge in teaching a CLIL lecture class. It took a few years to come to fruition but was really worthwhile, not just in the sense of achieving a peer-reviewed publication, but also in terms of the insights that the process brought to us. I've been doing a lot of CAE work over the last few years and am becoming quite an advocate of its use in our tertiary education field for teacher development purposes.
